Your job will entail: Teaching in Bc., NMgr. and Ph.D. programs in Middle Eastern Studies. Guidance and opposition of the Bc., NMgr. and Ph.D. theses. Original research and publication of its results in major peer-reviewed journals and scientific monographs. Regular active participation in international conferences. Preparation of grant projects of the department and participation in their solution. Participation in the operation of the basic unit of the faculty.

If the career development plan is required, it must aim to commence the habilitation procedure (procedure for the granting of associate professorship) no later than nine years after the expected beginning of employment.

Qualifications
- Achieved a Ph.D. degree with a focus on international relations, political science, security studies and international area studies. Internationalization, experience with internships in foreign locations, ability to conduct applied research and collaborate with the media in support of the university’s third role. Prospect of starting habilitation proceedings with the same focus within two years of joining. Proficiency in Arabic, enabling research work with original sources. Expertise in contemporary political, security and international political issues with a focus on the Levant. International publishing in prestigious publishing platforms. Experience in international grant making. Ability to teach in Czech and English and experience teaching at least two courses in English at a university.
