We are looking for a motivated student to join the research team at the Brno University of Technology for the position of a PhD student and Scientific and technical worker. Your focus will be on 3D metal printing of magnetic circuits with a special emphasis on electric motors and actuators.​

A Smart Magnetics Systems research group of the Institute of Machine and Industrial Design, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology, is one of the world’s leading research teams dealing with magnetically active smart materials and advanced magnetic circuits.

Requirements:

  • Completed university degree in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science)
  • Excellent technical thinking, initiative, and independence
  • Average knowledge of the English language
  • Enthusiasm for the field, willingness to learn new things, and work on personal development
