Open Position for LC-MS Operator in Proteomics Service Laboratory
The joint Proteomics Service Laboratory of IMG and IPHYS provides proteomic analyses using mass spectrometry. The laboratory is located in the IPHYS building (Krč campus). The successful candidate will be employed by IMG and will also hold a part-time employment contract at IPHYS.

You will:
- Operate mass spectrometer Orbitrap Exploris 480 coupled with UHPLC UltiMate 3000
- Maintain and troubleshoot the mass spectrometer, UHPLC and accessories
- Design and optimize LC-MS acquisition methods (untargeted and targeted)
- Monitor system performance by running quality control samples
- Analyse and visualize generated data
We require:
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in analytical/pharmaceutical chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology or related biological field
- Experience in operating liquid chromatography (and mass spectrometer)
- Reliability, flexibility and ability to learn new skills
- Strong communication skills, ability of team collaboration
- Solid written and spoken English; proficiency with PC
