Overview
Proton exchange membranes are the important part of proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) which is considered as one promising clean and highly efficient power generation technology in 21st century. The currently available proton exchange membranes are not stable under long-term usage and are not economical. Despite the currently promising achievements of PEMFCs, there are many challenges remaining that need to be overcome these disadvantages. The thesis will focus on the preparation of PEMFCs using polymeric materials and their characterization under various processes and environmental parameters.
