In accordance with the The Competitive Hiring Process Code of Charles University, the Dean of the Faculty of Science of Charles University announces a competitive hiring process with a deadline for applications April 02, 2025
Assistant professor position with the possibility of habilitation without further selection procedure. Responsibilities include teaching, research, performance of work at all levels, publication and preparation of research projects within the required area of expertise. The position will involve research within thePRIMUS/25/SCI/005 project.

Candidates who progress to the second round of the selection procedure will be invited to an interview. The interview may be conducted by means of information and communication technology if justified, at the request of the candidate. The Committee may invite selected candidates to give a lecture to the academic community of the Faculty.

Qualifications
- Ability to conduct international research and teaching in physical geography and geomorphology. Ability to work independently and in a team and to prepare project proposals, consistent publication activity in relevant peer-reviewed journals in the field. Two years of experience in research and teaching in the field abroad. Ability to conduct teaching and qualification work at all levels of study in Czech and English.
