average number of direct teaching hours 2 hours per week; teaching in Czech or English teaching of core and elective seminars in undergraduate studies, including supervision of undergraduate student theses, evaluations and examinations at all levels of study participation in the work of the Institute of Greek and Latin Studies international grant and project activities, publications participation in the “third role” activities of the university

If the career development plan is required, it must aim to commence the habilitation procedure (procedure for the granting of associate professorship) no later than nine years after the expected beginning of employment.

Qualifications

  • academic degree Ph.D. in the field of Latin medieval studies university degree in history or theology rich publishing activity including international studies and a monograph experience in editing and translation activities extensive experience in teaching, also in English; experience in didactics of Latin knowledge of English and German at C1 level, basic knowledge of ancient Greek and Hebrew extensive experience in project work experience in digital humanities attendance at professional internships and courses abroad experience in popularisation activities and social media management
