Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, represented by the Dean of the Faculty, announces an open competition according to the Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions

for the project Pre-application research of drugs for oncological diseases and for the prevention and treatment of serious complications caused by them (OncoPharm),
project ID CZ.02.01.01/00/23_021/0008442,

within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Commenius (OP JAK), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,

to fill research position:

FaF_VZ1_08: PhD Student, 0,15 FTE (15 %),

Place of work: Hradec Králové

Responsibilities:

  • independently carries out pedagogical and experimental scientific research activities in the field of pharmacology and molecular oncology,
  • presents and publishes the obtained results internationally,
  • promptly escalate identified risks to a superior position,
  • participates in key project activities with emphasis on application potential.

Profile:

  • Scientific and publishing activity in the field of experimental oncology or pharmacology is an advantage.
  • Education in a field with a focus on pharmaceutical or medical sciences is an advantage.
  • Active knowledge of English language at a minimum B2 level.

  • Prerequisites for excellent research work
  • Flexibility, diligence, thoroughness, and responsibility
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • High level of work commitment
  • Strong willingness to learn new things continuously

The estimated monthly wage: 35 000 CZK (1,0 FTE)

The start of work: 1 November 2024 or it can be negotiated.

Type of employment contract: for 1-3 years, with the expectation that the contract will be extended until 30 September 2027.

Employment: part-time (0.15 FTE).
