Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, represented by the Dean of the Faculty, announces an open competition

for the project New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM,
Project No.: CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004607,

within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Commenius (OP JAC), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,

to fill research position:

FaF_VZ1_15: Researcher (senior, Assoc. Prof.), 0,2 FTE (20 %)

Place of work: Hradec Králové

Responsibilities:

  • Participation in the research project VZ 1 entitled « Pharmaceutical and analytical chemistry ».
  • Experimental research activity in the relevant field, supervision of the research activity of the team’s experts.
  • Design, organization of work, planning and execution of experiments for VZ1, publication of professional results.
  • Experimental work in the field of development of separation methods for global and targeted analysis of proteins and peptides, solving partial scientific and research tasks.
  • Planning experiments, consulting results with other team members. Working with data, collecting, processing, analyzing and interpreting scientific works and reports.
  • Cooperation on the preparation of publications or other outputs and the presentation of project results on an international scale.
  • Involvement in the preparation of subsequent national and international projects.
  • Participation in key project activities with an emphasis on application potential.

Profile:

  • A researcher who is more than 7 years beyond the award of his/her academic Ph.D. or its equivalent (ISCED level 8 equivalent)*,
  • Completed university doctoral studies (Ph.D. degree) in a field of natural sciences at a university in the Czech Republic or achieved a comparable degree at a foreign university.
  • Senior researcher H-index ≥ 8, publications in major journals with IF, grant activity, active knowledge of English language.
  • Scientific and publishing activity in the field of analytical chemistry with focus on separation of peptides and proteins or other pharmaceutically relevant biopolymers, development of new separation methods, testing of modern approaches for separation of molecules with high molecular weight.
  • Previous experience in biochemistry, molecular biology or proteomics is an advantage.

The estimated monthly wage: 75 000 Kč (1,0 FTE)

The start of work: 1 January or can be negotiated

Type of employment contract: for a definite period of the project duration, ie until 29 February 2028.

Part-time job (0,2 FTE).
