Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, represented by the Dean of the Faculty, announces an open competition according to the Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions
for the project Advanced Techniques for Biomedical Diagnostics (ATEBIO),
Project ID: CZ.02.01.01/00/23_020/0008535,
within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Comenius (OP JAC), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,
to fill the research position:
FaF_VZ2_20: Technical Officer, 0.20 FTE (20 %),
Place of work: Hradec Králové
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the operation of the instrumentation.
- Ensuring basic instrumentation operation and routine sample preparation in WP2.
- Operation of HPLC/UHPLC instrumentation and sample preparation using SPE manifold or filled pipette tips.
- Ensuring the running, orderliness and instrument logs of the instruments in the laboratories of the
- Department of Analytical Chemistry (Faculty of Pharmacy, Charles University).
- Technical support for the security of experimental work, assistance to students and staff.
- Communicating with service organizations and ensuring smooth operation of instruments in the laboratories of the Department of Analytical Chemistry (Faculty of Pharmacy, Charles University).
- Participation in the key activities of the project, the job is not to carry out research but to help operate the instruments.
Profile:
- Secondary school education (higher education and experience in the field is an advantage).
- Active knowledge of the English language is an advantage.
- Completion of secondary education in chemistry, analytical chemistry or natural sciences is welcome.

- Prerequisites for technical/laboratory work
- Flexibility, diligence, thoroughness, and responsibility
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- High level of work commitment
- Strong willingness to learn new things continuously

The estimated monthly wage: 50 000 CZK (1.0 FTE)
The start of work: 1 January 2025, or can be negotiated
Type of employment contract: for 1–3 years, with the expectation that the contract will be extended until 31 December 2028.
Employment: part-time (0.20 FTE).
