Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, represented by the Dean of the Faculty, announces an open competition according to the Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions

for the project New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM,
Project No.: CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004607,

within the Operation Programme Johannes Amos Commenius (OP JAK), P 1: Research and Development, SO 1.1: Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and deploying advanced technologies,

to fill research position:

NETPHARM – FaF_VZ4_77: Technical Officer, 0,3 FTE (30 %),

Place of work: Hradec Králové

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the course of the study within the framework of WP4 of the NETPHARM project regarding the data collection in 3 outpatient clinics and 3 acute care departments in the Czech Republic – communication with researchers, control of protocols, control and cleaning of sent data and other administrative and technical works on the ongoing study.
  • Cooperation focused on processing forms, orders, contracts and payments according to the needs of the research team, ongoing research works and the plan of the feasibility study.
  • Management of the team’s administrative archives related to professional outputs of the work package and archived forms, assistance in the administration of grant applications, etc. and another assistance to the professional team as required by the head of the WP4 of the NETPHARM project.
  • Immediately escalates identified risks to a superior position. Communicates with the professional team of WP4 and management team of the NETPHARM project.

Profile:

  • Previous experience in organizing clinical or epidemiological studies and in preparing and administering study protocols (including documents for the Ethics Committee)
  • Experience in handling, cleaning and validating research data during preparing databases for statistical analyses is an advantage
  • Previous experience in collaboration with research teams in clinical-pharmaceutical research or research in related clinical fields is an advantage
  • Education in economics, administration or related fields
  • Good knowledge of working with a PC (Word, Excel), quick ability to start working with faculty administrative programs
  • Practical experience in performing basic public procurement agenda is an advantage
  • Knowledge of legislation related to performing the above-mentioned work

Other knowledge and skills:

  • An active knowledge of the English language
  • Flexibility, diligence, thoroughness, and responsibility
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • High level of work commitment
  • Strong willingness to learn new things continuously

The estimated monthly wage: 50 000 CZK (1,0 FTE)

The start of work: 1 April 2025

Type of employment contract: for 1 year, with the expectation that the contract will be extended until 29 February 2028.

Employment: part-time (0.3 FTE)
