About the role:

This junior-mid level IT Support position is focused on providing comprehensive IT support to the Prague and Zurich offices while leading IT initiatives across both sites. The role involves troubleshooting IT issues, managing IT infrastructure, developing automation solutions, actively participating in cloud operations projects, and leading some global IT projects. The ideal candidate will take ownership of IT matters for these locations and contribute to the company’s global roadmap, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement in both on-premise and cloud environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow in IT support, and cloud technologies while contributing to key IT functions across the organization.

Location: Prague, On-site

What will you do?

  • IT Support for EU sites (Prague and Zurich): Provide on-site and remote IT support for employees in Prague and Zurich, resolving hardware, software, and networking issues promptly.
  • IT Ownership: Take the lead on IT operations for the Prague and Zurich sites, ensuring that all systems, tools, and processes are functioning efficiently.
  • Cloud Operations Participation: Collaborate on cloud infrastructure projects and tasks, contributing to the management and optimization of cloud environments (GCP, AWS).
  • Global Project Participation: Participate in global company projects and roadmaps, leading some IT and cloud initiatives, and ensuring timely delivery in alignment with company goals.
  • Automation Development: Work closely with internal teams to develop and implement automation solutions that streamline routine tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual work.
  • Global Support Participation: Collaborate with global IT teams to support cross-site IT and cloud needs and contribute to global IT projects as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Required qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, and cloud technologies.
  • IT Support Skills: Strong knowledge of macOS, Unix, Windows, and common IT troubleshooting tools.
  • SaaS and Cloud Platform Management: Good understanding of SaaS administration and Cloud infrastructure.
  • Automation Development: Experience in creating automation scripts to optimize workflows and reduce manual tasks (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking concepts, IT infrastructure management, and basic cloud technologies.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing IT and cloud-related issues.
  • Communication: Excellent English speaking and writing skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Service mindset: Maintain a consistent focus on users’ IT service needs, using accountability, collaborative partnerships, and empathy to make all of your engagements with users and partners positive and supportive.

Desired qualifications:

Cloud Automation Tools: Familiarity with IaC concept and platforms used for cloud automations (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
