Are you an ambitious person proficient in laser technology and would like to explore the fascinating world of laser development? Do you want to be part of our innovative team and contribute to the future of high technology in the laser industry? Are you a graduate with a Master’s degree in laser technology (e.g. physics or engineering focusing on laser technology)? Do you have experience in diode-pumped solid-state laser (DPSSL) development? Our focus is on candidates with direct experience in laser construction.

We are looking for someone who can bring their professional and technical skills and a proactive approach. You won’t be left alone as we offer support, training, a fair amount of freedom, and a deeper sense of purpose that this work will bring. What will your day look like?

  • Design, installation, and repair of laser systems,
  • installation of optical and optomechanical components,
  • measurement of laser parameters,
  • recording and processing of measured data,
  • preparing progress reports,
  • working in a clean environment, usually wearing laser glasses,
  • active participation in the development of various types of commercial lasers (from R&D labs to large-scale production in the factory)

Do you have everything you need to do this?

  • Experience in laser construction, laser design, measurement, and alignment of laser beams,
  • fundamental knowledge of the principle of operation of lasers and different laser architectures,
  • great manual skills (optics handling, precise adjustment of optomechanical systems),
  • basic computer and electrician skills,
  • precision, responsibility for performed work, cleanliness,
  • good social skills (need to communicate with many people)
  • positive attitude, patience, and meticulousness,
  • diligence and organization skills,
  • responsibility for performed work,
  • good communication skills in English and Czech,

Start date: ideally as soon as possible
Contract conditions: As training and adaptation take approximately one year, we welcome candidates who plan to stay with us for at least three years. Full-time employment is preferred.
