Academic Staff Member – Lector for the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Engineering

Research field: electronics, control automation, cybernetics and robotics

We are a modern university, teaching and researching agriculture, forestry, economic and technical disciplines in regional and international contexts. Since 2018, we have been the holder of the HR Excellence in Research Award for improving employee care, awarded to us as the first Czech university by the European Commission.

The Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Technology is part of the Faculty of Agronomy of MENDELU and is focused on teaching and research activities in the areas of operation and use of agricultural technology for livestock breeding, agricultural technology for crop production and plant protection, technology for food and feed industry, waste and environmental technology, agricultural and industrial buildings, electrical engineering and automation, technical expertise and valuation.

What will be your job role?

  • conducting exercises and seminars in the field of electrical engineering, control automation, cybernetics and robotics
  • preparatory work for the provision of educational activities
  • professional work for scientific research activities
  • publication of research and development results in scientific journals

What are our requirements?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Control Automation and Informatics, ongoing further studies
  • active knowledge of Czech language, English language at B1 level
  • basic experience of teaching at university
  • willingness and ability to teach
  • publication activity in the field of electrical engineering, automation, robotics
  • professional overview and practical experience in electrical engineering, automation, cybernetics and robotics
  • professional competence in electrical engineering according to Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll.
  • driving licence, active driver

Required research experience:

  • basic orientation in the issue of grant titles for research projects (participation in e.g. research projects NAZV, TAČR)
