Overview
The Intelligent NanoEngineering Group at Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic is looking for a highly motivated person to join our team for a fully funded PhD project. The project focuses on designing intelligent engineered nanorobotic systems via single-atom engineering. These constructed nanorobotic systems will be further explored for their biomedical applications. It holds the potential to revolutionize nanomedicine treatment approaches. The program is funded by the Czech Science foundation.

We are looking for candidates with:
- Master’s degree in materials science, nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
- Strong interest and self-motivation in interdisciplinary research of nanomaterials and medicine.
- Good communication skills in English (both written and oral).
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Single atom engineering; nanoparticle design, synthesis and characterization
- Characterization techniques such as SEM, DLS, XRD, XPS, XAS, etc.
- Drug delivery system design, synthesis and characterization
