Candidates for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025 – Postdoc in Robotics
(researcher) for the Department of Robotics
We are searching for Ph.D. holders (up to 8 years of from the date of award), who have not resided in the Czech Republic for more than 12 months during last 3 years at the time of the deadline (10 Sep 2025).
Researchers in the following robotics research areas are particularly welcome:
a) Design of robotics structures / Reconfigurable robotic structures.
b) Bio-robotics / Soft-robotics / origami robots.
c) Human-robot interaction-cooperation.
d) Machine learning.
e) Field robotics.
f) Vision / Perception / Prediction

Required expertise:

Activity description/Position Overview:
As a member of the Department of Robotics, you will contribute to research in the design of self-evolving robotic systems for non-standard applications in unstructured and unknown environment. These systems can change their mechanical structure, parameters and capabilities based on surrounding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research: in defined area of your expertise with focus on components related to self-evolving robotic systems

Alternative funding in the Czech Republic
The proposals which obtain a score of 70% or above in the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships call under Horizon Europe but are not proposed for funding under MSCA due to the lack of budget, are eligible for funding under ERA Fellowships or under the Operational Programme John Amos Comenius (2021- 2027).

Type of job contract: fixed-term employment contract with the possibility of extension
Anticipated commencement: June 1st 2026 onward
