We are a dynamic international team working at interface between clinical and preclinical metabolic research. The new colleague will be primarily responsible for leading a collaborative project aimed at identifying predictive markers of bariatric surgery efficacy and characterising the relationship between systemic effects of bariatric surgery and changes in adipose tissue immunometabolism using multi-omic approaches (see also the CarDia project). The postdoc will also have the opportunity to participate in preclinical projects in the laboratory (see our website for more details).

IPHYS is a leading research institute in the field of normal and pathological physiology. It consists of a number of scientific and service laboratories and shared equipment for biomedical research.
