Overview
Are you passionate about advancing antibody development and cutting-edge biotechnology? As a Research Scientist in our Antibodies team you can play a key role in custom development of recombinant monoclonal antibodies and development of novel antibody-related technologies.
What will be your responsibilities?
- You will employ methods such as PCR, protein expression, purification or FACS. You will also gain experience with automatization utilizing liquid handlers and washers, which may involve basic programming and database work.
- Support our team in development of custom monoclonal antibodies: immunogen design, cell isolation, FACS sorting, cloning, DIANA based Screening, expression and purification and/or QC – depending on previous experience and background.
- Help to design mAb development strategies tailored to our customer needs.
- Development of novel antibody-related technologies extend our capabilities as well as make our current pipeline even more efficient.
- Optimizing, expanding and automating our experimental facilities.
- Preparing documentation and to some degree also project management.
- Identifying new relevant targets, reviewing research papers.
What are the requirements?
- PhD degree or equivalent industrial experience in immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, physiology, chemical biology, pharmacology, biophysics or related fields.
- Experience with development or routine use of antibodies in different settings is desirable.
- Experience in recombinant protein expression and purification, protein chemistry is an advantage.
- Experience in cell culture, cloning, flow cytometry, qPCR or immunoassays is also an advantage.
- Fluent English, good communication, reporting, IT and data management skills.
- You are a team player who is also capable of independent work.
- You have a goal-oriented mindset.
